Social Responsibility Policy

For the purpose of providing support for social, environmental and economic issues that affect our stakeholders; ÖZER METAL declares and undertakes the policies below:

Preventing Child Employment:

  • To not allow or support child employment

Preventing Compulsory Labor:

  • To not employ any staff under any pressure or debt
  • To employ all of our staff under equal conditions and in appropriate positions with their consent

Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety:

  • To meet the legal requirements for workplace health and safety for all of our workers
  • To take preventive measures for preventing workplace accidents
  • To provide a hygienic environment for all workers
  • To provide the required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Wages and Payments:

  • To provide all our employees the wage and social rights which are determined within the law
  • To work in accordance with the hours determined by legal regulations

Regular Employment:

  • To meet our liabilities for regular employment within the scope of the applicable working and social security laws

Preventing Discrimination:

  • To avoid any discrimination in relation to language, religion, race, sex, social class, pregnancy, civil status or physical disability

Preventing Maltreatment and Harassment:

  • To not maltreat or harass employees
  • To treat our employees with respect and honor

Freedom of Representation:

  • To treat our employees’ right of representation with respect

Preventing Environmental Pollution:

  • To determine environment friendly policies and standards for the purpose of preventing environmental pollution and protecting nature
  • To notify our employees with regard to environmental issues

Conformity to Law and Other Liabilities:

  • To continue our activities in accordance with the applicable law and regulations, rules of our customers and business partners and the quality management systems that we are accredited to

Preventing Bribes:

  • To not accept, under any circumstances, any gifts or payments which shall constitute a financial gain from any employee or supplier and to not make such requests ourselves.
